Equity Research Analyst @ Uljk Financial

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Research:

Conduct thorough fundamental analysis on companies and industries.

Build and maintain financial models (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).

Analyze key financial metrics such as earnings, revenue, margins, growth rates, and valuation ratios (P/E, EV/EBITDA, etc.).

Monitor and analyze financial reports, earnings releases, conference calls, and industry news.

Stock Coverage:

Provide detailed reports and investment recommendations (buy, sell, hold) on assigned stocks.

Prepare written research reports that include analysis of financial results, competitive positioning, market trends, and risks.

Conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant data, including interviews with industry experts and management teams.

Market & Industry Trends:

Stay updated on market conditions, macroeconomic factors, and industry trends.

Evaluate the impact of geopolitical events, economic indicators, and regulatory changes on the markets and individual companies.

Analyze competitors and industry peers to assess market position and performance.

Client and Team Support:

Communicate research findings clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders (portfolio managers, traders) and external clients (investors, senior executives).

Present findings in investment meetings and collaborate with senior analysts to refine investment strategies.

Respond to client queries and provide additional analysis as needed.

Investment Strategy Development:

Provide insights and recommendations to support portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions.

Assist in formulating market outlooks and sector-specific strategies.

Contribute to the development of investment ideas that align with the firms investment objectives.

Risk Management:

Assess and highlight key risks associated with individual companies and the broader market.

Provide early alerts on potential downside risks, earnings disappointments, or market disruptions.
