Job Description

    Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering sessions with clients using various techniques including workshops, interviews, brainstorming, use cases, and prototyping. Document as-is and to-be business processes and assist in identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and assess automation potential using defined ROI and feasibility criteria. Create high-quality functional documents, business cases, white papers, and case studies to support project and presales initiatives. Prepare standard and ad-hoc presentation decks to explain functional and technical aspects of insurance solutions, tailored to different audiences. Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, use cases, and functional specifications for development teams. Engage closely with developers, QA teams, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business goals. Support presales activities, including RFP responses, solution demos, and stakeholder engagements, especially from a domain perspective. Facilitate Program Increment (PI) and sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews to maintain alignment between business and technical teams. Provide oversight and coordination throughout the entire solution lifecycle, ensuring CoE standards, toll gates, and delivery controls are enforced. Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for client communications and delivery execution. Required Experience & Domain Expertise Minimum 7+ years of total experience, with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst/Functional Consultant in the insurance industry. Strong domain expertise in Life, Health, Property & Casualty insurance products and their operational workflows (underwriting, claims, policy admin, customer service). Familiarity with insurance laws, regulations, and compliance practices. Practical experience with insurance-specific platforms, such as Guidewire and Duck Creek. Demonstrated ability to develop content for RFPs, create artefacts, and conduct presales support. Solid experience in data analysis, UAT, product documentation, and process mapping. Awareness of technologies impacting the insurance sector, such as AI, RPA (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism), Blockchain, and IoT. Experience delivering presentations and decks across multiple levels of stakeholders (functional and technical). Preferred Certifications AINS, LOMA, CPCU Six Sigma Green/Black Belt (a plus) Primary Skills & Attributes Strong consultative and facilitation skills with excellent verbal and written communication. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to break down complex processes and identify efficient solutions. Ability to work across diverse teams and effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels. Customer-obsessed, innovative, and committed to delivering high-value features in each iteration. Capable of blending business acumen with technical understanding to drive successful solution design. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
