Role Responsibilities Design and develop automated test scripts using suitable automation tools. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify issues. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback. Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks. Conduct regression testing for new software releases. Generate and maintain test documentation and reports. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices in testing. Identify, log, and track defects through resolution. Perform root cause analysis for identified defects. Work closely with the QA team to develop testing strategies and plans. Utilize Agile methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery. Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to improve testing processes. Provide training and support to junior team members on automation tools. Stay updated with latest industry trends and toolsets. Assist in improving testing practices based on feedback and outcomes. Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Proven experience in automation testing (2-4 years preferred). Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript). Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git). Knowledge of database testing and SQL. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Effective problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and organization skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience in performance testing is a plus. Understanding of software development lifecycle. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Certifications in testing tools or methodologies are a plus.
