Expediting Specialist (Chemical Industry Expert) - Part Time @ Venwiz

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our Expediting Business Unit as a Subject Matter Expert, providing specialized guidance to the on-site expeditors to ensure the seamless delivery of critical equipment fabrication for chemical industry projects. The SME should be able to guide the team about key and critical equipment and its manufacturing process steps as well as potential problems which need to be addressed.The expediting is limited to manufacturing (Fabrication as main technology in consideration) at vendor workshops and majorly focusing on equipment. Generally technical structures and general fabrication will be out of scope. Ensure the effective delivery process by tracking, monitoring, coordinating with suppliers to deliver the job orders in accordance with contract to enable that Venwiz can keep the delivery to its clients as agreed upon
Technical Guidance:
Provide expert advice to the Venwiz team on equipment fabrication requirements specific to the chemical industry.
Assist in reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and fabrication plans to ensure compliance with project standards and timelines.
Based on the review of documents, SME should be able to come up with feasible manufacturing plan with process wise lead time
Offer solutions for challenges encountered during the fabrication process.
Understand the QAP requirement and help on-ground team to identify stage wise milestonesVendor Management:
- Oversee and manage multiple vendors across various geographies to ensure the timely delivery of fabrication components.
- Evaluate vendor performance and adherence to mutually agreed-upon terms and conditions. Project Oversight
- Collaborate with project teams to track progress and address any potential delays.
- Ensure critical components are fabricated in alignment with project drawings and quality standards.
