Job Description
- We are looking for a seasoned Principal QA Architect with 1520 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Automation Strategy, and Test Architecture for our client (the biggest financial institution of India). This is a critical leadership role where you'll define and drive the QA vision across a complex and diverse suite of enterprise-grade applications and platforms. Youll lead the transformation of QA practices by implementing modern, scalable automation frameworks and integrating quality principles throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a technical leader with strong hands-on experience, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record in enterprise QA leadership. Note: Our client is seeking candidates who can join on a short notice period. Job Location: Navi Mumbai Key Responsibilities Define and execute an enterprise-wide QA strategy across multiple products and platforms. Establish standards for test architecture including automation, performance, security, and reliability. Design and evolve scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, mobile, and backend systems. Evaluate, adopt, and implement cutting-edge QA tools and technologies. Mentor and lead distributed QA teams, promoting innovation and best practices. Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed quality across SDLC. Monitor quality metrics, test coverage, and defect trends to drive continuous improvement. Champion shift-left testing, CI/CT, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines. Stay abreast of QA trends and advocate for emerging technologies in automation and testing. Requirements Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 1520 years of experience in software testing with 10+ years in a QA Architect or QA Lead capacity. Deep expertise in QA methodologies, automation tools, and testing processes. Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Angular, or Python). Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG. Strong understanding of CI/CD and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Build Piper, etc. Knowledge of microservices testing, containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
