Architect and deploy cutting-edge IoT systems to enable real-time data collection, predictive analytics, and process optimization.
Develop and maintain robust IT infrastructure solutions that ensure high availability, scalability, and seamless integration of IoT devices across operational technology (OT) and IT platforms.
Implement advanced data communication protocols, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity across distributed assets and environments.
Lead efforts in IoT device lifecycle management, from procurement and configuration to deployment and maintenance.
Establish and enforce cybersecurity frameworks, protecting sensitive data and critical infrastructure from emerging threats.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to identify opportunities for IoT-driven innovation and align technical solutions with strategic goals.
Conduct regular audits of IoT and IT systems, implementing best practices for performance optimization and cost-effectiveness.
Stay at the forefront of IoT trends and technologies, recommending and integrating state-of-the-art solutions to enhance business value.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in IoT implementation, IT infrastructure design, and management, with significant exposure to Oil & Gas sector projects.
Proficiency in IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, Google Cloud IoT) and communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, OPC-UA, LoRaWAN).
Hands-on expertise in IT infrastructure technologies, including networking, cloud computing, virtualization, and edge computing.
Strong command of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and tools tailored to industrial systems.
Proven track record in integrating IoT technologies with SCADA systems, distributed control systems (DCS), or similar OT platforms.
Extensive knowledge of Oil & Gas workflows, including drilling operations, refinery processes, and pipeline monitoring.
Experience with predictive maintenance solutions powered by IoT sensors and real-time monitoring tools.
Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies for data-driven insights and decision-making.
Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified IoT Developer, Azure IoT Solutions Architect, or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
Expertise in energy-efficient and sustainable IoT implementations aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
