We are the leading software company, focused on delivering innovative and scalable technology solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our talented engineering team and work on cutting-edge solutions.
Role Overview:
As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, focusing on Java Microservices architecture. You will work on building scalable and high-performance applications, integrating with REST APIs, and deploying solutions on AWS. You will also be expected to implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Java-based backend services and applications using Spring Boot and Java Microservices.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs for frontend integration and communication.
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices applications with a focus on high availability and performance.
- Work with AWS services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) for cloud-based deployments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and other team members to ensure seamless application performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services for performance and scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java with solid experience in Java 8+.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and building Microservices architecture.
- Proven experience working with REST APIs and understanding of web services protocols.
- Experience with AWS and various cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline).
- Good understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Knowledge of version control using Git and familiarity with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Experience in deploying applications on cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Graafian).
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud-based applications.
