Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
This position works closely with Industrial Designers, R&D Engineers, and/or teams in the making of prototypes/components using 3D printer and general mechanical workshop machines.
- Execution of prototype building using Mechanical workshop equipment such as 3D Printers, CNC milling, lathe and other hand tools as per the laid down SOP/WI, Protocols, Having good knowledge of EHS documentation.
- Planning of jobs in case of multiple projects running simultaneously.
- Assisting Designers/Engineers in prototype finishing activities.
- Good understanding of EHS documentation
- Understanding of the SOP/WI.
- Knowledge of 3d Printers & CNC will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills
- Operate and maintain equipment as per the requirements.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Maintain equipments calibration (both internal / external)
- Preparing the equipments work instructions / SOPs.
- Preparing the documentation required for EHS Audits.
- Participate in root cause investigation exercise.
- Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Carrying out other routine tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Working knowledge of EHS Documentation, CAD/CAM software, CNC Programming, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
Skill Set:
Must have -
EHS Documentation, prototyping activities preferably at Medical device/Automobile sector
Key words & Tools:
