About The Role

As a Bid Manager your main goal is to lead the End-to-End bid process, from indicative offers to binding proposals, ensuring strong governance. This role combines project management, commercial development, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and effective communication across verticals and service lines in the BPS industry.

Key tasks include managing the RFP response process, crafting quality submissions, and ensuring precision in bid-related activities. You will build relationships with stakeholders, implement quality assurance for responses, and manage bid collateral within an internal tool. Qualifications include bid management experience, familiarity with RFP tools, strong communication skills, and a successful track record. BPO Pre-sales experience is essential, and APMP/Shipley certification is preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, Solution Architects, Domain experts, finance, and legal departments, to gather the necessary information and insights required for a compelling proposal.
  • Responsible for creating high-quality deliverables, such as proposals, customer presentations, contract packs, approval materials, and other deal-related documentation. This includes supporting the definition of sales strategies and tactics to increase the win ratio.
  • BPO BM Experience in MAANG cos. (Meta, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google)
  • Orchestrate and anchor cross-domain workshops to enable the team leverage best practices, unlock tribal knowledge, and accelerate cross-pollination between different verticals
  • Ensure clear communication and documentation of project status to both the team and stakeholders, also Build, and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the end-to-end review of the RFP response prior to submission including conducting own review, handling peer reviews, and facilitating overall quality control.
  • Manage and execute the complete response process for RFPs and competitive bidding opportunities.
  • Receive guidance from senior leadership in preparing bids and completing requests for proposals (RFP/RFI/RFQs)
  • Capture insights and guide bid teams during Orals, Due Diligence and BAFO process
  • Efficiently oversee the bid process from qualification through to the transfer of deliverables to Sales.
  • Identify and assess bid risks and develop mitigation strategies. This requires understanding commercial, legal, and compliance requirements and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of bid-management professional experience, ideally in the BPO industry or with a provider of complex and innovative solutions
  • Bachelors degree with MBA (preferred) or similar working level obtained through relevant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree level education.
  • Strong Project Management skills include adapting PM methods for dynamic environment, including the capability to identify pragmatic solutions and clear tasking to tight timeframes with a proactive and anticipation approach
  • Proven expertise in managing large, complex deals for service like Contact Center, CX within a BPO organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of successful bid and RFP outcomes.
  • Proven determination to maintain a strong work ethic, coupled with an eagerness to learn and a hands-on approach to tasks.
  • Self-starter, motivated and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to generate ideas and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams/SharePoint & Procurement portals like Ariba, SAP etc. Preferred: APMP/Shipley Certified
