Job Description
The Cloud Infrastructure Architect plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure solutions for cloud-based applications. This position is essential in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the organization's cloud environment. The Cloud Infrastructure Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop robust, cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.

- Designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions
- Developing and maintaining cloud architecture blueprints
- Leading the migration of on-premises infrastructure to the cloud
- Evaluating and recommending cloud services and solutions
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure efficient implementation
- Implementing infrastructure as code and automation techniques
- Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements
- Performing infrastructure capacity planning and optimization
- Conducting regular infrastructure performance assessments
- Participating in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Providing guidance and support to junior infrastructure team members
- Resolving complex infrastructure-related issues
- Staying updated with the latest cloud and infrastructure technologies
- Collaborating with external vendors and service providers
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
- Certification in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools
- In-depth knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
- Expertise in cloud security and identity management
- Capability to analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure costs
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of performance and cybersecurity
