Fabrication Fitter @ Kriday Contractor

Job Description

 

1. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
2. Measure, mark, and layout metal components accurately using precision tools.
3. Cut, bend, and shape metal parts using gas cutters, grinders, and other tools.
4. Fit and assemble structural and mechanical components as per specifications.
5. Ensure alignment and positioning of parts prior to welding or bolting.
6. Assist welders by securing materials and preparing joints for welding.
7. Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
8. Conduct quality checks to verify accuracy and compliance with design standards.
9. Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
10. Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
