Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages projects exclusively through development, regulatory, pre-launch, and pre-commercialization phases resulting from in-licensing transactions or ongoing alliance partnerships.
- Conduct due diligence to assess the potential value and risks associated with each opportunity.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams within and outside the organization to ensure that project expenditures and timelines align with established objectives
- Identifies and addresses challenges and risks, develops and oversees integrated project plans, and facilitates internal and external communications to keep stakeholders informed about commitments, deadlines, and progress
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on in-licensing activities, progress, and potential risks.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain relationship with alliances partners and oversee contractual obligations for all designated alliance programs.
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams and partner leaders across all levels to drive assigned projects forward in alignment with departmental and business goals.
- Provide project management supervision throughout all project phases for assigned initiatives, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
- Utilize project management software to establish timelines, maintain action and decision logs, and track project advancement
- Required Qualification for the job
Graduate / postgraduate in a pharmaceutical or business administration discipline.
2. Length and type of experience required for the job
Around 5 years experience in pharmaceutical industry in R&D, Project Management or Alliance Management
3. Competencies required for the job
Basics of project management functions, good communication, knowledge of generics industry and the various departments involved in drug product development, registration and commercialization.
