Job Description
Job Title: Mid-Level Accountant
Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai

We operate a 6-day work week, with Saturdays ending early at 4:00 PM.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping in Tally / Wings ERP with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and assist in statutory compliance work
- Assist in finalization of accounts, including trial balance and reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer)
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks, follow up independently, and ensure timely completion without reminders
- Manage accounts receivable/payable, vendor coordination, and routine ledger reviews
- Maintain and organize accounting records, vouchers, and documentation for audits and filings
- Provide data support for statutory and internal audits, tax assessments, and related queries
- Support senior team members in preparation of financial reports, audit schedules, and compliance forms
- Exercise basic common sense in financial decision-making and handling day-to-day queries
- Collaborate with internal teams but also work independently with minimal supervision
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent qualification
- 5 years of experience in core accounting and taxation till Finalazation of Balance Sheet
- Strong working knowledge of Tally / ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions
- Ability to manage responsibilities without frequent follow-ups or micromanagement
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi
- Honest, dependable, and possessing practical judgment and basic common sense
- Strong attention to detail, organized working style, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
