The aspiring Product Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of offshore operations and development centres, ensuring high quality standards, timely project completion, and client satisfaction by managing teams, monitoring performance metrics, and proactively identifying areas for improvement, while maintaining strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their needs, and proactively addressing concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
- Project Delivery/ Project management :
- Manage project timelines, scope, and budget effectively.
- Identify potential risks and proactively mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular project status reviews with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership:
Motivating, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, setting clear expectations, providing performance feedback, and identifying talent development opportunities.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) like productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time.
- Implement process improvements and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Continuously review and update operational procedures to maintain efficiency. Identifying areas for process improvement, implementing new methodologies, and optimizing workflows to achieve cost-effectiveness.
- Business Development:
Participating in new business development initiatives by identifying potential opportunities, collaborating with sales teams, and presenting proposals to prospective clients.
- Performance Monitoring:
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement, and taking corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Management:
Effectively communicating project status updates, challenges, and key decisions to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams, fostering collaboration and achieving results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships and manage expectations.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools to ensure successful project execution.
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize operations.
Understanding of business drivers, financial metrics, and the ability to translate client needs into actionable strategies.
Deep expertise in the specific industry sector the company serves, including regulatory landscape and market dynamics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Any Masters degree / engineering degree with Project Management certification would be plus
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 8-9 years of experience as delivery manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and client management.
- Prior experience in a senior leadership role, managing large teams and complex client accounts.
- Strong understanding of business operations, including quality standards, SLAs, and performance metrics.
