Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Strategic IOC Development: Design and implement Integrated Operations Centers (IOCs) to centralize and streamline decision-making through real-time data integration, advanced analytics, and remote operations capabilities.
Smart Room Enablement: Develop and deploy state-of-the-art Smart Rooms with interactive dashboards, data visualization tools, and collaborative technologies to improve situational awareness and operational planning.
Process Innovation: Optimize workflows and operational processes by leveraging digital technologies, automation, and best practices in Smart Room and IOC utilization.
Technology Integration: Lead the integration of operational technologies (SCADA, DCS, IoT devices) with IT systems and cloud-based platforms to enable seamless data flow and interoperability.
Real-Time Analytics: Enable predictive and real-time analytics by integrating advanced technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and IoT, into Smart Rooms and IOCs.
Operational Leadership: Collaborate with field operations, IT, and engineering teams to align digital initiatives with business objectives and asset management strategies.
Training & Adoption: Guide teams in adopting and effectively utilizing Smart Room and IOC technologies through comprehensive training and mentorship.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory standards, cybersecurity protocols, and environmental policies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, driving continuous innovation and competitive advantage in operational excellence.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas field operations, digital transformation, or technology integration.
Proven expertise in the design and implementation of IOCs and Smart Rooms to enhance operational capabilities.
Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas workflows, such as drilling, production, pipeline operations, and asset monitoring.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, IoT platforms, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), and data visualization tools.
Advanced understanding of predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications.
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP), cybersecurity, or industry standards (e.g., IWCF).
Knowledge of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles and their application to smart technologies in operations.
Familiarity with edge computing and remote monitoring technologies.
