What You'll Do At Pega
Software Design and Development
Actively participate in design and development of applications
Leverage best in class Pega technology to drive the design, implementation, quality, and support for GOALS -> EPICS -> User stories using scaled agile methodology
Assist in the identification of enhancements to Pegas products
Collaborate with product management to help define and align product goals with software deliverables Technologies you will work on Pega, REST Services, Postgres, Oracle, DB2, Tomcat
Process Adoption and Learning
Follow scrum practices and report work status, progress and impediments in a timely fashion
Become technically proficient with Pega Platform technology/tools
Continuously look for opportunities to learn and improve skills
Who You Are
You are a Pega Developer who is passionate about software development, and strive to find simple, elegant solutions to complex real-world business problems
You are a proven performer who is driven by code quality, cleanliness, maintainability, performance, and scalability
You are passionate about learning new technologies and are interested in utilizing the power of model-driven development to architect and implement low-code enterprise applications
You enjoy working in an agile, fast-paced environment that values collaboration and teamwork
You possess strong communication and inter-personal skills and thrive in a robust environment that imposes new challenges frequently
Strong PRPC technical skills, preferably Pega 8 and above
Participates in design and development of features
What You've Accomplished
2 3 years of Pega Development experience in analysis, design, and application deployment of Enterprise application systems
Exposure to integration technologies like XML, JSON, REST, SOAP
Partner with internal clients, like Product Managers, to align business goals with implementation results Thorough understanding of (Pega based) applicationsarchitecture you have previously worked on Pega certifications (CSA/CSSA) is an added plus
Good experience/understanding of Javascript, CSS, HTML is desired
Familiarity with business processes in financial industry related to key solution areas is preferable
