Job Description
As an Application Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, conduct various tests, and contribute to the overall improvement of our applications user experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to comprehend project requirements and objectives.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform functional, usability, regression, and performance testing on software applications.
Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies.
Work alongside developers to troubleshoot and verify bug xes.
Create clear and concise bug reports and status reports.
Participate in design and requirement review meetings to provide testing insights.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application testing.
Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes and strategies.
Key Result Areas:
Thorough testing of applications to ensure reliability and quality.
Effective communication of issues and resolutions with the development team.
Timely identication and reporting of software defects.
Improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Competencies (Skills essential to the role):
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
Prociency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Familiarity with testing tools and platforms.
Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
Knowledge of different testing types such as functional, regression, and usability testing.
Familiarity with Agile and iterative development concepts.
Continuous learning mindset to keep up with the evolving landscape of application testing.
Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
