Experience Required:
6-7 Years (Minimum 5 years in Insurance Sales, preferably with experience in corporate
agency or broking channel)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Associate to lead our
insurance vertical growth across Health, Life, and Motor Insurance through our mobile app
and digital platforms. This individual will be the key point of contact with insurance
partners, oversee all documentation, manage product onboarding, and mentor our internal
sales and support teams to drive scale and compliance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Drive and scale retail insurance sales (health, life, motor) via app and offline partnerships.
- Develop and execute strategies for customer acquisition, lead conversion, and renewals.
- Identify new products, trends, and market opportunities to increase portfolio diversity.
2. Insurance Partner Management
- Act as a SPOC for all insurer relationships onboarding, documentation, and compliance.
- Coordinate product training, product updates, and operational escalation with insurers.
- Regularly monitor insurer performance (Claim Settlement Ratio, ICR, etc.) and ensure
optimal product mix on app.
3. Team Development & Support
- Conduct regular training sessions for in-house sales/support teams on insurance products
and compliance.
- Help set and track KPIs for team performance and customer service standards.
4. Operations & Documentation
- Ensure all documentation (IRDAI compliance, commission structures, brochures) are
updated and available.
