The Role: Technical Lead / Sr. Unity Developer We're seeking a passionate and experienced Unity Developer to join our team in building edifyer.io from the ground up. You'll play a crucial role in developing a cloud-hosted WebGL / WebXR application that enables non-technical L&OD professionals to create engaging and hyper-personalized training. If you're excited about the intersection of gaming technology, AI, and enterprise learning, this is the perfect opportunity for you. What You'll Do: Architect, develop and maintain a cloud-hosted WebGL / WebXR platform using Unity. Implement a no-code, drag-and-drop front-end editor, media manager and analytics dashboard for L&OD professionals. Work with a Character Crafting API to integrate conversational AI into a training platform. Design and implement customizable training templates and a robust template library. Develop a scalable, modular codebase optimized for high performance and user concurrency, across various browsers, devices, and VR headsets. Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end automated processes that seamlessly integrate continuous integration, testing, and deployment workflows. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including architectural diagrams, coding standards, and configuration guides, to facilitate smooth team and customer onboarding and ongoing collaborations. Work closely with passionate founders, and L&OD experts to bring Edifyer.io to life. Recruit and mentor a highperforming technical team and enforce rigorous code review and agile project management practices. Constantly evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and best practices to enhance platform performance, security, and the overall user experience. What You'll Bring: 5+ years of professional Unity development experience. Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming. Experience with WebGL and/or WebXR development. Understanding of 3D graphics, animation, and performance optimization. Experience integrating external APIs (experience with conversational AI APIs is a plus). Knowledge of enterprise security principles and best practices. A passion for creating user-friendly and engaging experiences. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A portfolio that shows off your Unity Skills. A desire to build a product from scratch. Bonus Points: Experience with VR/AR development. Familiarity with agile methodologies and automated CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud-based development and deployment.
