Position: State Program Manager Work Location: Panchkula/Chandigarh Role Overview We are looking for a State Program Manager for two programs. As a State Program Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end management and implementation of the program across the state. You will handle documentation, coordination, and program management in collaboration with state officials and the program team. Roles and Responsibilities Manage and implement program activities in alignment with the organization's mission and vision. Serve as a key contact for programmatic assistance to assigned programs and their supervisors. Support functional teams to ensure timely completion of planned activities as per project work plans. Collect data and feedback from the ground to improve program design. Coordinate and follow up professionally with the project team and other departments for effective program implementation. Prepare for and assist in conducting meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes. Support IEC and BCC initiatives for effective implementation. Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the program lifecycle. Assist the communications team in sharing learnings from the program for publication and other requirements. Submit field visit reports upon completion of every trip. Qualifications & Skills Masters degree in social sciences, humanities, or public health is desirable. 5-7 years of relevant work experience in programmatic and administrative support functions. Experience in the development sector or NGOs is preferred. Strong program management and implementation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi, with attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret data/documents and communicate information effectively. Experience in conducting capacity-building sessions with state-level officials, district and block officials, and frontline workers (FLWs). Strong training and facilitation skills, with an emphasis on innovative training methods.
