Production & Planning Engineer Electrical/Mechanical 4 to 5 Years Experience - Bangalore

Summary

Were looking for a skilled Production & Planning Engineer with experience in busduct manufacturing, production planning, and ERP systems (Infor/SAP). If you're passionate about process improvement, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with a strong focus on compliance and safety this is your next big move.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly production and billing plans by aligning order inflow with plant capacity.
  
• Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to ensure timely billable orders and active manufacturing plans.
  
• Prepare and manage BOMs and design PRs while keeping inventory at optimal levels.
  
• Lead material traceability initiatives and ensure effective ERP system implementation (Infor).
  
• Plan sub-con and vendor development for air-insulated busduct fabrication.
  
• Support corporate initiatives such as Kaizen, safety culture, and IMS document compliance.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred).
  
• 4 to 5 years of industry experience, particularly in busduct ITC (Sandwich or Air Insulated).
  
• Proficient in ERP platforms (Infor, SAP) and strong in Excel-based planning.
  
• Strong understanding of MRD, BOM, and production workflows.
  
• Ability to resolve ERP-related tickets and train new users.
  
• Experience with legal and corporate compliance procedures.
