Devops Engineer @ IT Services

Job Description

Key Skills: AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools.
• Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud environments.
• Automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows for faster delivery.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.

Skills Required:

• 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS/Azure Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Experience with GitOps practices and tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh (e.g., Istio).
• Experience with security best practices in DevOps and cloud environments.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
