Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Short Visit Nurses to join our team on a freelance/part-time basis. As a Short Visit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing brief, in-home care to patients, focusing on specific health needs and tasks. This role offers flexibility with scheduling, making it ideal for healthcare professionals seeking part-time or freelance opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Provide short-term, in-home nursing care based on patient needs and care plans. Administer medication, perform wound care, and monitor patient conditions. Conduct health assessments and communicate any concerns or changes in the patients condition to the healthcare team. Educate patients and their families on health management, including medication routines, recovery processes, and lifestyle adjustments. Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with company guidelines and regulations. Collaborate with the AssistHealth team and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain a high standard of patient confidentiality and privacy in compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active state license. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home healthcare or related fields. Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle a variety of medical conditions in home settings. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals effectively. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule. Flexible and reliable, with a passion for providing personalized care. Must have access to a reliable mode of transportation to visit patients homes. Additional Requirements: Current BLS/CPR certification. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. Must pass a background check and comply with AssistHealths safety protocols.
