Site Reliability Engineer - SRE II @ Girnar Insurance

Job Description

Role Title: SRE II

Role Overview

As an SRE 2, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining highly available, scalable, and
secure infrastructure and services. Youll work closely with developers, QA, product, and
security teams to ensure system reliability and performance, implement observability tools, and
drive incident management processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform,
CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

* Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support seamless deployments.
* Monitor production systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
* Lead root cause analysis and postmortems for production incidents.
* Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability through automation and
architectural changes.
* Implement security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, and error
budgets.
* Contribute to on-call rotations and incident response preparedness.

Qualifications:

* B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong understanding in DevOps tools.
* Demonstrable experience in CI/CD Pipeline, Docker, Jenkins and Kubernetes .
* Familiarity with AWS Cloud
* In-Depth knowledge on Linux platform.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
