Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will be responsible for designing mobile application interface design, navigation, presentation (client UI) along with developing custom controls as required by the application.
- The candidate should be able to build/develop the data - driven, interactive; web service based mobile applications on Android platform including the application architecture.
- The candidate should be able to utilize native APIs to enable maps, in - app SMS and email features and should be able to develop applications that control handset resources like camera, memory etc.
- The candidate will work closely with product development team, understand product development roadmap, and execute rapidly to build mobile applications
- Responsible for working on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Eligible candidate should hold 3+ years of experience in Android application Development.
- Strong in concepts Core Java and Android SDK
- Good Knowledge of Android, Java/Kotlin, Design patterns, MVP, MVVM.
- Experience in working with IOC/DI, Security, Local storage/SQLite/Room,
- Proficient using tools like Android Studio, Eclipse IDE
- Good to have, working knowledge in socket communication, Third party library integration and modification according to need and able to choose best available.
- Extensive understanding of the full mobile development life cycle (MDLC).
- Experience in working with Android Core Components (Activity, Services, Broadcast receiver & Content Provider etc),
- Good knowledge of Android Architecture Components (View Model, Live Data, Room etc.), Retrofit, Material design, Push Notification
- Experience in working with Gradle, Maps, Performance and Memory Management, Asynchronous Programming, Reactive programming, Multithreading, Build deployment.
- Design pattern & project architecture to insure scalability & maintenance of a large project.
- Good communication skills
