Power BI Developer @ Apptad

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Power BI datasets, dataflows, and reusable semantic models.
• Implement complex data modeling solutions using star/snowflake schemas, calculated tables, and measures.
• Write efficient and maintainable DAX to support KPIs, metrics, and calculations.
• Optimize performance of datasets and reports through proper modeling and tuning techniques.
• Collaborate with data engineers and source system owners to ensure high data quality and consistency.
• Create and manage Power BI Dataflows to support reusability and lineage tracking.
• Ensure datasets follow governance and security standards, including row-level security (RLS).
• Work closely with business analysts and report developers to understand requirements and translate them into effective data models.
• Maintain documentation for datasets, measures, and business logic.
