Job Description

• Perform TIG welding on mild and stainless steel components used in railway infrastructure.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

• Fit, assemble, and tack-weld parts using clamps and fixtures.

• Conduct visual inspections and measurements of welds for quality assurance.

• Follow welding procedures and ensure compliance with industry and safety standards (e.g., AWS, EN ISO, or other relevant certifications).

• Maintain and operate TIG welding equipment safely and effectively.

• Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to site safety regulations.

• Record work progress and maintain accurate documentation of welds and materials used.

• Assist with other metal fabrication tasks as needed.
