Perform TIG welding on mild and stainless steel components used in railway infrastructure.
Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
Fit, assemble, and tack-weld parts using clamps and fixtures.
Conduct visual inspections and measurements of welds for quality assurance.
Follow welding procedures and ensure compliance with industry and safety standards (e.g., AWS, EN ISO, or other relevant certifications).
Maintain and operate TIG welding equipment safely and effectively.
Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to site safety regulations.
Record work progress and maintain accurate documentation of welds and materials used.
Assist with other metal fabrication tasks as needed.
