Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Support Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end functional and technical support for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) systems. This role involves working closely with warehouse operations and IT teams to ensure seamless system functionality, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM issues, including inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets related to RF (Radio Frequency) transactions, warehouse monitoring, and EWM functionalities.
- Work with key business users to analyze requirements, identify system enhancements, and implement changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EWM with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and TM.
- Participate in testing, training, and deployment of new functionalities and system updates.
- Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Document functional specifications, support processes, and knowledge base articles for ongoing learning and handover.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Must have advanced understanding of EWM functionality and configurations.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse processes such as goods receipt, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
- Hands-on experience in resolving RF device-related issues and managing queue/monitor setups.
- Familiarity with integration points with SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Experience with incident management tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or equivalent is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- SAP EWM certification
- Exposure to SAP TM (Transportation Management)
- Experience in working in a global support environment or with manufacturing/logistics companies.
