Job Description
Role & responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with a PMP certification and a proven track record of successfully managing software development and IT projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality expectations.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Coordinate between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication.
- Lead and mentor project teams to achieve business objectives.
Methodologies & Best Practices
- Implement Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Use project management tools like JIRA, Redmine, Trello, MS Project, or Asana.
Risk & Budget Management
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimize costs.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure projects meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Conduct regular reviews, audits, and quality checks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- PMP Certification (Mandatory).
- Experience with cross-functional/locational teams is a must
- 7+ years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in software development, AI/ML, ERP, mobile/web applications, or enterprise solutions.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools like JIRA, Redmine, or MS Project.
- Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certified
- Certifications like CSM, PRINCE2, ITIL are an added advantage.
