Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in end-to-end implementation and support projects for SAP PP module.
- Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions with key stakeholders in manufacturing, production, and planning.
- Configure SAP PP module components, including Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Work Center, Routing), MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control.
- Integrate SAP PP with other modules such as MM, SD, QM, and WM.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, reports, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with technical teams for the design and development of RICEFW objects.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide user training, prepare documentation, and support post-go-live activities.
- Resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLA timelines.
- Analyze business processes and continuously recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on SAP best practices and emerging technologies related to manufacturing and supply chain.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP PP module across implementation and support projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PP processes like MRP, Production Orders, Shop Floor Control, Repetitive Manufacturing, and Demand Management.
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, and QM modules.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in preparing functional documentation and conducting end-user training.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP PP Certification.
- Exposure to SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries).
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps related to production planning.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
