Job Description (JD):

Anex Tour India is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Ticketing Manager with hands-on knowledge of Amadeus and Galileo GDS systems. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of domestic and international flight bookings for both B2B and B2C clients. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of airline rules, fare construction, and group bookings, and should be able to work independently and handle pressure efficiently.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):

1. Flight Booking & Reservations

  • Issue, reissue, cancel, and refund air tickets through Amadeus and Galileo.
  • Handle both individual and group bookings for domestic and international travel.
  • Provide fare quotations, date change options, and routing advice to clients and agents.

2. Airline Coordination

  • Coordinate with airlines for special group fares, waivers, and schedule changes.
  • Manage BSP reconciliation and airline invoicing (if applicable).

3. B2B & B2C Ticketing Operations

  • Handle ticketing requests from travel agents (B2B) and direct customers (B2C).
  • Ensure all bookings are ticketed accurately and within the required time limits (TL).

4. Client & Agent Support

  • Offer 24/7 support (on rotation if required) for urgent ticketing issues.
  • Assist sales teams and agents with the best fare options and alternative routes.

5. Fare & Route Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of IATA rules, fare classes, published/contract fares, and market trends.
  • Monitor and compare GDS fare options with online platforms for cost efficiency.

6. Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain and update daily reports for issued, cancelled, and pending tickets.
  • Support the finance team in invoicing and reconciliation for B2B partners.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 36 years of experience in travel ticketing with a reputed travel company or DMC.
  • Expert knowledge of Amadeus and Galileo GDS is mandatory.
  • Familiar with airline refund and cancellation policies.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to manage high volumes during peak travel seasons.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any field; IATA or airline ticketing certification is a plus.
