Job Description
- Production Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to meet production targets.
- Ensure that production processes are efficient and cost-effective.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure the highest standard of jewelry production.
- Develop and enforce quality control procedures.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage the production team, including jewelers, setters, polishers, and other personnel.
- Motivate and mentor team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Oversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production processes.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all safety regulations and compliance standards are met.
- Promote a culture of safety within the factory.
- Cost Control:
- Manage production costs and optimize resource utilization.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments such as design, sales, and supply chain to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on production status and challenges.
- Proven experience in jewelry manufacturing, with a minimum of 8 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of jewelry production processes, materials, and quality control.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in inventory management and cost control.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in jewelry design, production management, or a related field (preferred).
