Positions Open Professor Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG) Professor General Surgery Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching to MBBS students following the NMC and SMSIMSR curriculum guidelines. Guide and mentor students not just academically, but in values-driven medical practice. Supervise clinical activities, patient care, and surgical procedures in respective departments. Lead research initiatives and encourage academic inquiry and publication. Participate actively in departmental administration, curriculum development, and student assessments. Uphold the ethos of SMSIMSR by fostering a culture of compassion, integrity, and excellence. Qualifications MBBS with MD/MS/DNB (in respective specialties) recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Minimum 8 years of teaching experience post-MD/MS, with at least 5 years as Associate Professor (as per NMC norms). Registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India. Prior experience in reputed teaching institutions will be highly valued. Desired Attributes Deep commitment to medical education and rural healthcare development.
