- Woxsen University invites applications for Research Professor positions (Tenure Track) across all academic disciplines. We seek accomplished scholars with exceptional research capabilities who will contribute to our mission of becoming a leading global research institution. Successful candidates will join a dynamic academic environment committed to research excellence, innovative teaching, and making significant contributions to their fields. Primary Responsibilities Research Excellence (70%) Maintain a robust research agenda resulting in high-quality publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals Secure substantial external research funding through competitive grants and industry partnerships Contribute to Woxsen's research metrics and international rankings through impactful publications and citations Develop and lead innovative research initiatives within your discipline Mentor junior faculty and PhD students in research methodologies and publication strategies Present research at prestigious international conferences and academic forums Contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives across the university Teaching & Mentorship (20%) Deliver 2-3 courses per academic year in areas of expertise Supervise master's and doctoral students" research projects and dissertations Develop curriculum that integrates cutting-edge research into teaching practice Employ innovative pedagogical approaches that enhance student learning outcomes Service & Leadership (10%) Participate in departmental and university committees Contribute to academic program development and accreditation processes Engage in professional service activities such as editorial roles and conference organizing Foster relationships with industry partners and potential research collaborators Participate in outreach activities that enhance Woxsen's reputation and impact Qualifications Required PhD from a globally recognized institution in relevant discipline Strong publication record in top-tier journals with demonstrated citation impact H-index appropriate to career stage and discipline (minimum guidance: 10+ for Associate Professor level, 15+ for Full Professor level) Evidence of successful research grant acquisition Experience supervising graduate student research Teaching experience at university level Clear potential to achieve tenure as demonstrated through scholarly impact Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Postdoctoral research experience International research collaborations Industry partnerships or applied research experience Evidence of interdisciplinary research capabilities Experience with research commercialization or knowledge transfer Editorial board service for respected academic journals Recognition through fellowships or awards in your field,
