Summary of the Role:

• The role will be responsible for devising and executing manufacturing/Production engineering strategy for the Vehicle plants, comprising Press shop, Weld shop, Paint shop and Vehicle Assembly.
• The role will develop road map for Future Ready manufacturing, Analytics, Operations Efficiency Improvement and Sustainable manufacturing processes.
• In depth knowledge of products, engineering, technology trends, digitalization, manufacturing and project management.
• He would drive digitalization and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Skills Required

Education & Experience Requirements :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 20+years of experience in vehicle engineering within the automotive industry.
• Proven experience in leading and managing vehicle engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle manufacturing principles, processes, and materials.
• Experience of Greenfield, Brownfield and Capacity creation and New model projects
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing systems, Industrial engineering techniques desired.
