As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong background in test/validation and software development.

Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying test plans, debugging test framework issues, and creating test automation software.

Solid understanding of multimedia audio technologies and experience with audio compression codecs, including BT codecs like LDAC ABR, AAC, SBC, APTx, APTx HD, AAC ABR, LHDC, and BLE.

Proficient in one of the languagesPython, C++, or C

Knowledge of the Android framework and machine learning is a plus.

Good understanding of audio technology , Android experience ,Voice activation, USB , Bluetooth stack and profiles test experience.

Need experience in Audio feature testing and initial debugging skills , If one has Qcom tools experience then added advantage.

Contribute to conversations to generate new ideas for next generation test scoping/improvements.

Conduct in-depth analysis of features benchmark performance and/or power consumption to identify issues or areas for improvement.

Work across teams to align on important areas of feature development and ensure targets are met Responsibilities

Working independently with little supervision.

Use deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information to various stakeholders some of whom may have limited knowledge of the subject in question Requirements
