Automation reliability and engineering team (ARE) at SAP ECS plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of our systems and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain our infrastructure, automate processes, and optimize performance. What youll do
Analyse system outages and create decision tree for faster resolution of the issues and automation.
Implement self-healing mechanisms for configured system alerts and automated remediation actions to mitigate issues proactively.
Monitor resource utilization trends and performance metrics to identify potential outliers.
Develop and create agile methodologies and DevOps practices to optimize and establish a reliable automation infrastructure.
Design resilient architectures to ensure high availability and reliability of systems and applications.
Define meaningful SLIs and establish corresponding SLOs to measure system reliability and performance.
What you bring
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven expertise in SAP Technologies (SAP NetWeaver certification preferred).
Solid understanding of networking concepts, system administration, and security principles.
Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Ansible, Python, Shell, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity in Data science tools, Machine learning fundamentals and algorithms.
Experience in designing and implementing automated tests.
