Job Description: Sr. Network Architect SDWAN (Fortigate)
Design Expertise:
- Expertise in Global WAN network design and implementation of multiple SDWAN technologies
- Experience in designing integrated WAN and SDWAN solution (Fortigate) for big WAN transformation projects
- Expertise in planning and designing WAN transformation and migration methods
- Design, Solution, Build and Deployment Experience on below advanced technologies:
- VPN technologies - IPSec, DMVPN etc.
- Routing protocols - BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS etc.
- MPLS & Multicast technologies
- SDWAN technologies - Fortigate
- Expertise in preparing high quality HLD and LLD design documents
- Identifying cross functional dependencies
- Experience in sequencing the activities, scheduling the tasks and preparing project plan.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge and expertise in developing a Global WAN solution
- Strong knowledge and expertise in developing SDWAN solution (Fortigate)
- Design and implementation of NNI solution in multi-service providers environment
- Good knowledge on public cloud connectivity Cloud Exchange, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute to Public Cloud provides
- Expertise in implementing and troubleshooting WAN Optimizers
- Good knowledge in Security environment, such as Firewalls, Proxy servers, SSL offloading, VPNs etc.
- Detailed knowledge in implementing essential services for DC, such as DNS/DHCP/NTP and IPAM
- Good knowledge in WAN, MPLS and Internet technologies
- Good knowledge in cloud (Public, private and hybrid)
- Preferable to possess advanced/expert level certifications from multiple vendors
Consulting Expertise:
- Consulting and understanding holistic WAN requirements with presales
- Conducting project kick off meetings and engaging in detailed technical discussions
- Network strategy and consultancy services.
- Assessment and providing Recommendation reports
- Provide network design services which meet and exceed the needs of customer
- Propose and Validate BoM for Network Infrastructure solutions.
- Preparing Scope of Work and Project Plans for the Solution.
- Closely work with Project Managers and customers Technical authority and ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables
- Working with 3rd party hardware and Telco suppliers to ensure delivery expectations are met and issues escalated accordingly
- Escalating all delivery issues in timely and structured manner as required
- Providing technical support to multiple services and other team members
- Working as part of a project in a demanding environment where teamwork is key to delivering and meeting client commitments
- Complete varied complex/non-standard tasks and may coordinate/oversee work of others
- Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents
- Provide resolution to project or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures, in a timely fashion
- Create project documentation and procedures
- To lead the project implementation phase and be responsible for delivery of projects on time and on budget.
Troubleshooting Expertise:
- Strategic problem-solving skills
- Systematic troubleshooting skills
- Deep dive in to detailed analysis with high degree of technical knowledge to solve complex technical problems
- Overall trouble shooting skills including, Compute/Virtualization, Network, Security and DDNI
- Troubleshooting and repairing network issues, as well as developing, applying and enforcing best practices and policies
- Effectively communicating details complex problems to various teams and members
Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in preparing Solution documents and presentations
- Conducting brainstorming sessions to resolve complex issues with the team
- Presenting solutions to the customers effectively

- LAN/Switching: Cisco Catalyst 3500 / 3550 / 3700 / 3900 / 4000 / 6500 series switches, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.1q, ISL, Ether Channel, Multicast, SNMP, VSS, VTP, STP, RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, vDC, vPC, VRF, FCoE, DHCP, Traffic Shaping, Voice over IP, Video / Voice QoS (CBWFQ, LLQ)
