Job Description
LRR Technologies is currently hiring talented people to work with Carrier Corporation. Carrier Corporation (NYSE: CARR) is a global provider of innovative heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, fire, security, and building automation technologies boasting annual sales of over $20 billion, with 58,000 employees spread across 160+ countries. For its R&D center in Hyderabad, Carrier is looking for a talented Power BI Developer.
Job Responsibilities:
Power BI developer will be responsible for design and develop, and implement business
intelligence solutions using Power BI and AWS. Candidate must have expertise in data
visualization, DAX, SQL, ETL processes, and AWS cloud services such as Redshift, S3,
Glue, and Lambda.
Education:
- BE/ BTech degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 8 plus years of Power BI development experience.
- MTech/ MS degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 7 plus years of Power BI development experience.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and processes.
- Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports using AWS data sources.
- Integrate Power BI with AWS services like Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
- Design and implement scalable data models for cloud-based analytics.
- Develop ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Python.
- Ensure data security and governance using AWS IAM and Power BI row-level security.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Optimize Power BI performance for large datasets stored in AWS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Agile software methodologies and tools.
- SW management tools.
Additional Comments:
This individual be self-directed, highly motivated, and organized with strong analytical
thinking and problem solving skills, and an ability to work on multiple projects and function in
a team environment.
Perks and benefits:
The position will pay quite well - Rs. 22.5-30 lakh per annum is the band, and the final amount may be even higher depending on your experience and expertise.
