Job Description
Hadoop Developer role- The Individual will be a part of Shared Technology Services (STS) providing Big Data Hadoop based solutions to multiple lines of business.

Requirements
Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications If Any:
Experience Range: 2 - 4 yrs
Mandatory Skill:
- Minimum 2+ years of Big Data experience in developing solutions using Hadoop technologies Hadoop/HDFS/Hive / Sqoop / MapReduce / Java/ Spark / Scala, preferably on Cloudera Distribution.
- 2+ years of strong Unix shell scripting capabilities and exposure to any Job Scheduler like Autosys
- Loading from disparate datasets, pre-processing using Hive, translate complex technical functional requirements into detailed design.
- Develop applications aligned with Bigdata Strategy Roadmap
- Need to work with top level stakeholders of Hadoop clusters, take the requirement and perform end - end work from Analysis, Design, Model tables, Coding testing and promote to production
- Excellent written verbal communication, ability to multitask, work well under demanding situations, prioritize and meet deadline
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning technologies will be added advantage
Desired skills:
- Knowledge of Banking and Finance domain.
- Big Data Analytics Data Science concepts are added advantage
- Awareness or Experience with Data Lake with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem
- Data Integration, Data Security on Hadoop ecosystem - Kerberos
- Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
