Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Mid-Level (5-6 years of experience in software product management)
Job Summary:
As a Product Manager, youll be responsible for the end-to-end success of one or more of our software products. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to develop a product vision and drive its execution. You will gather and prioritize product requirements, define, and monitor metrics, and ensure alignment with the companys strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer insights, market research, and company goals.
- Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, and usability testing to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of product features and enhancements.
- Lead product launches, working with marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure successful release and adoption of new features or products.
- Define and monitor product metrics, analyze user data, and gather feedback to optimize the product and inform future development.
- Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to improve the user experience and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Conduct research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, using insights to influence product decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business, Engineering). MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5-6 years of experience in product management for software products, with a demonstrated record of success in launching and managing products.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into actionable product features and requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to product management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha!, Trello) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).
- Passion for understanding customer needs and solving their problems through innovative software solutions.
- Ability to lead without authority and motivate team members to align with the product vision.
