Mechanical Maintenance Manager @ Kumar Arch Tech

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance department (mechanical, electrical, utility).
  
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and SOPs.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns of machinery and plant equipment.
  
• Ensure minimal downtime and maximum machine availability.
  
• Maintain records of machinery maintenance, spares inventory, and compliance reports.
  
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for smooth plant operations.
  
• Handle AMCs and vendor management for critical equipment.
  
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  
• Plan and execute shutdown maintenance activities.
  
• Develop and train maintenance teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience with PVC extrusion machinery, calendaring lines, chillers, compressors, boilers, and utilities.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  
• Knowledge of TPM, Lean Maintenance, and Energy Management.
  
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
