Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, perform financial forecasting, and analyze variances between actuals and budgeted figures.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Prepare for and facilitate internal and external audits.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of accountants. Provide training, performance evaluations, and career development support.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Client & Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. Address and resolve any accounting-related inquiries or issues.
