Job Description
- Implement robust, scalable, and efficient server-side solutions using Java.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications based on the Short Message Peer-to-Peer (SMPP) protocol.
- Develop and maintain integrations between SMPP gateways, SMSCs, and other communication systems.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot latency or throughput issues in messaging systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality products.
- Address and resolve technical challenges related to messaging protocols, load balancing, and high-availability systems
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Java (1.8 and 17), multi-threading, and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
- Proficiency in SMPP, SS7, SIGTRAN, STP, M3UA links, A2P/P2P SMS traffic management, and message routing.
- Extensive experience in developing solutions involving SMPP, SS7 protocols HLR , SMSC, SMS, RCS, Messaging Platform
- Experience with TCP/IP, Ingress Load Balancer (Internal and External), and high-availability systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Hub, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and automation tools like Kibana.
- Experience with Apache Kafka and Active MQ.
- Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with LogStash, JStack, and Wireshark for protocol analysis.
- Experience with FreeSwitch, Asterisk Dialplans, WhatsApp Business API, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, and Google RCS Business Messaging.
- Experience with UML, Wire Framing, DFDs, and requirement specification development.
- Proficiency with React, HTTP, WebRTC, FTP, WebServices, and content delivery networks (CDNs).
- Knowledge of SNS, SES, Compute, Storage, and S3.
- Experience with https, NGINX, and Tomcat.
- Experience in detecting and blocking grey route leakages (on-net/off-net & international) and firewall rule creation.
