Quality Control: Manage and improve fabric quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications such as ISO, OEKO-TEX, and GOTS.

Testing and Analysis: Oversee physical and chemical testing of fabrics, including shade grouping and shade matching.

Process Efficiency: Identify and implement improvements in the manufacturing process to optimize quality and efficiency.

SAP QM: Utilize SAP QM module for effective quality management and reporting.

Lab Dip Development: Lead the development and approval of lab dips, ensuring accurate color matching and consistency.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the quality control team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Compliance and Certifications: Ensure all products meet the required certification standards and maintain factory compliance with industry regulations.

Textile Testing (Physical & Chemical): Expertise in testing processes for various fabric types.

Shade Matching & Shade Grouping: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in fabric color matching.

SAP QM: Proficient in using SAP QM for quality management and tracking.

Certifications Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO, OEKO-TEX, and GOTS certifications.

Leadership & Problem-Solving: Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to lead the quality team and resolve issues.

Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management within a composite textile mill.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Head to join our composite textile mill in Uganda. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in textile quality control, specifically in PV, PC, cotton, and knitted fabrics. This role requires hands-on experience in physical and chemical testing, shade matching, and shade grouping, along with proficiency in SAP QM for quality management.
As the Quality Head, you will lead efforts to ensure the highest standards in fabric quality and process efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing lab dip development, implementing ISO, OEKO-TEX, and GOTS certifications, and driving continuous improvement in product quality.
