Job Description

 

Junior Civil Engineers assist Senior Civil Engineers with their daily duties, from designing structures to inspecting newly constructed buildings. Responsibilities shown on sample resumes in this field include solving complex projects using specialized engineering techniques and tools while under the supervision of a Senior Civil Engineer, and designing reinforced concrete columns, beams and walls according to the results from the analysis and under supervision of a Senior Civil Engineer. Acceptable on an applicants resume for this career are a bachelors degree in the fields of civil engineering, construction engineering, or civil engineering technology.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensuring work executed is correct by doing checking of all activities.
2. Ensuring the work is completed in scheduled time and plan.
3. Recording the manpower available, materials available at site and raising indent / request for material required in coming days to avoid delays.
4. Estimation of Quantities of material required at site.
5. Ensuring work executed with Good Quality and Safely.
6. Maintaining all records of work executed and checked such as - checklist, pour cards, post concrete inspections, material reconciliation, bills and debit notes etc.
7. Apart from above Engineer In-charge can assign additional responsibilities.
