Job Description
Company: Leading NBFC Firm
Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager Data Scientist
Department: Analytics
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2 to 5 Years
Qualification: UG or PG in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Working Days: 5 days
Key Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, and maintain advanced analytical models and machine learning solutions.
Execute data processing tasks using advanced SQL and Python programming, including libraries such as pandas, numpy, and datetime.
Implement machine learning models using scikit-learn and statsmo
Perform model validation, deployment, and automation of data science workflows.
Design and build dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights effectively.
Utilize PySpark, work with big data platforms, and develop solutions on cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Incorporate MLOps best practices using tools like MLFlow and version control systems like GitHub.
Skills
Excellent command of data processing and model development.
Proficient in SQL and Python
Adept at data processing - using SQL queries and Python libraries like pandas, numpy, datetime, usage of Lists and Dictionaries, iterators, lambda functions, etc.
Modelling techniques using scikit-learn and statsmodels packages: like linear and logistic regression, decision trees, boosting and bagging algorithms (XGBoost, Random Forest, GBM, etc.)
Understanding of model deployment and process automation, model validation
Experience in visualisation and dashboarding (preferably using Qlik Sense)
Hands-on PySpark and Big Data Platforms, Cloud architectures like AWS, GCP, Azure, usage of MLOps (like MLFlow), and working using GitHub
Good to have experience in Deep Learning (MLP, CNN, RNN, LSTM), Transformers, and Gen AI solutions (LLMs like Claude, Mistral, BERT, Gemini, Llama, etc.), accelerators like LangChain and Vector DBs.
