Job Description

Position: Windchill Customization/Application Development Consultant

Qualifications Skills, Education, and Experience:

• 710 years of proven experience in Windchill development.

• Background in the Medical Devices industry is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding and practical experience with DevOps methodologies.

• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SQL, and relevant scripting languages.

• Extensive experience in both client-side and server-side Windchill customizations using Windchill APIs is essential.

• Solid grasp of Windchills database architecture.

• Demonstrated expertise in complex Windchill configurations, including:

  • Lifecycle and workflow customizations

  • Customizing Windchill to support intricate business processes.

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum software development frameworks.

• Experience in integrating and working with RESTful APIs, particularly using ODATA and Swagger, is an advantage.

• Hands-on experience with Windchill modules such as QMS/Regulatory, MPMLink, and PartsLink.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and customize Windchill solutions in alignment with business needs.

• Develop and integrate applications utilizing Windchills REST APIs.

• Ensure code is developed, deployed, and debugged following best practices across the software development lifecycle.

• Work closely with both onshore and offshore teams, including Business and Solution Architects, to create prototypes and deliver complete solutions.

• Translate technical requirements into detailed and accurate design documentation.

• Provide technical support, resolve complex issues, and offer effective solutions.

• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code with minimal supervision.

• Develop and execute unit and functional test cases to ensure solution quality.

• Select, configure, and manage CI/CD tools to support development and deployment processes.

• Lead efforts to improve development workflows by establishing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
