Job Description
-
Lead the cyber assurance function, ensuring security controls are implemented and operating effectively across the organization
-
Conduct comprehensive security assessments, audits, and risk reviews of IT systems, applications, and third-party services
-
Monitor and evaluate compliance with information security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.)

Develop, refine, and enforce cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
-
Drive remediation plans and risk treatment strategies in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders
-
Coordinate internal and external audits and support regulatory inspections
-
Ensure proper risk reporting and maintain documentation aligned with the organizations risk appetite
-
Provide cybersecurity assurance reports and dashboards for senior management and board-level communication
-
Mentor and guide junior team members and promote a strong cybersecurity culture across the organization

Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies
-
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E. / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or related field)

1015 years of experience in cybersecurity, cyber assurance, IT audit, or information risk management
-
In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, COBIT, etc.)

Strong experience in IT risk assessment, gap analysis, compliance management, and policy governance

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer (preferred)

Solid understanding of cloud security, DevSecOps, and vulnerability management
-
Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
-
Experience in regulated sectors such as banking, telecom, healthcare, or government
-
Familiarity with tools such as GRC platforms, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and cloud security posture management (CSPM)
-
Previous leadership roles in cyber assurance or information security governance
-
Hybrid or On-site (depending on organization policy)

May require occasional travel to conduct audits or vendor assessments
