Job Description
- Design, configure, and implement networking systems, including LANs (Local Area Networks), WANs (Wide Area Networks), and VPNs (Virtual Private Networks).

- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Choose appropriate hardware and software to meet business and technical requirements.
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades.
- Analyze traffic patterns and implement solutions to improve network performance.
- Optimize the network for speed, security, and reliability.

- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, including hardware and software problems.
- Provide technical support for network-related incidents and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Use network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they affect operations.
- Implement and manage network security protocols and firewalls to safeguard data and protect against unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats and take proactive steps to protect the network.

- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, layouts, and operating procedures.
- Prepare reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.
- Keep track of network inventory, including hardware and software components.

- Collaborate with IT support staff, system administrators, and other teams to resolve technical issues and implement network solutions.
- Communicate with vendors to manage network equipment procurement, service contracts, and support.
- Provide guidance and training to end users and junior network engineers on network usage and best practices.
- Support troubleshooting and technical assistance for employees and clients when network-related issues arise.
